QCad Pro 3.28.2
As I'm getting use to using QCad I have a project with 24 layers. Is it possible already, if not is it reasonable to have layers assigned to groups so that you can hide/unhide groups of layers? In my example I would have 2 groups of 12 to hide/unhide the two groups?

Re: Feature suggestion maybe
Hi,
as I see it you have already two options.
1. Drawing organized with Parent / Children layer.
2. Layer states.
I would prefer option 1. Maybe you like to give it a go ...
How to:
Create for group 1 a parent layer with 11 children layer.
Same for group 2 ...
Control the visibility of an entire group with freeze/thaw of the parent layer. Play also with hide/show (Eye switch) just to get a better understanding of the differences between those switches.

Re: Feature suggestion maybe
So the feature was there. Still learning.
Trying number 1
I created a layer then assigned sub layers to the parent layer. When I select the parent to show child layers they do not show. What am I doing wrong?

Re: Feature suggestion maybe
Just figured out the child layers need to be active, then you can toggle the parent on-off to toggle all of the children on-off.
Re: Feature suggestion maybe
Excellent! Play with frozen/thawn too ...
