Is there a way to view modelspace through a viewport as in AutoCAD?
Example use cases (in case, say, there are better ways to achieve the below):
* to have a templatized way of setting various layers' visibility status when working in modelspace.
* to have view into modelspace at angle other than the default.
* to refine what portion of modelspace is visible within a viewport if original selection (during VP creation) is no longer appropriate.
Thanks,
New-ish user/transfer from AutoCAD, with QCAD Pro 3.32.4.0 on Windows11.

Re: view into modelspace from viewport
Thanks Andrew. And, oh golly, I realize I wasn't as clear as I should have been. I certainly know how to make viewports (and know your layout/viewport tutorial inside out), and in some sense yes, one can do exactly what I asked for: view modelspace.
What I mean, and the use-cases I mentioned bear this out perhaps better than the question itself, is to actually get into modelspace through that viewport, so that you can work with it: work in modelspace at the angle that the viewport is setup to view modelspace as, or have automatically visible only those layers which the viewport specs as visible (and then, by moving to view modelspace through another viewport, you could automatically have a different set of layers spec'ed as visible).
Thanks, and, again, my apologies for being a bit unclear originally.

No, a viewport does not allow the user to work on the model space in QCAD.

Re: view into modelspace from viewport
Thanks. Perhaps a bit sad to hear that's the answer, but good to know it is, so I can keep doing work-arounds w/o worry there's some more direct solution I've missed! Thanks again.
