[solved] one (1) view not showing in print preview! PLEASE HELP.

Post by Prostreet » Mon Jan 08, 2024 7:24 pm

QCAD (3.28.2)
I have a detailed drawing of a proposed home layout.
The center is the plan view.
There are 4 elevations views all around the plan view.
When I go to print current view, it shows all but the left view.
I can't seem to solve the problem.
Enclosed is the drawing.
Any and all comments would be appreciated.
Thank You in advanced.
Jerome.

The left view is on a white layer "Hatch".
The rest of the drawingis is on a black layer "Lines".
I don't know your background (canvas) color but most likely is in "Application Preferences" the option set to prevent Black on Black / White on White rendering.
Solution: Move the entities on Layer "Hatch" to Layer "Lines" (correct way) or switch Layer "Hatch" from white to black.

Sure, you could also deactivate the Black on black etc option but that isn't the idea for this option ...
Application Preferences / Graphics View /Appearance
Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.

Thank You.
Thank You.
Thank You.
That was soo easy I'm almost embarrassed.
It worked immediately, when I changed the hatch layer to the line layer,
Thank you HUSKY for taking your time to assist me in solving the problem.
I really appreciate it.
Jerome.
