Greetings
I have been using Qcad since 2019, this print issue is new. As shown in the jpeg the format information in the print preview window is not carrying over to the print window.
Since I recently updated to windows 11, I figured my my older version of Qcad was not compatible with windows 11.
So I bought version 3.29.4.0 (3.29.4) today however this did not fix the issue.
Note in the test print that it printed portrait instead of landscape and some of the drawing elements are missing.
This occurs both on my Brother MFCj470dw printer and with print to pdf.
Any help will be appreciated.
Jerald

Re: Print preview is not sending format info to printer
Hi,
Regarding the missing elements:
1. Will they appear when you print in print mode black/white instead of color? Maybe you print white on white. Check the used layer attributes for color.
2. Lineweights: Are they 0? Or set to default and the default is set to 0. If so change to something >0.

Re: Print preview is not sending format info to printer
Per Husky's suggestions
1. Set Print mode to black/white - No effect
2. Set all lines widths to 1.0mm - No effect
I have pulled up other drawings that I have printed many times in the past and they also look good in print preview but don't print right.
Something has changed. I suspect it has to do with the switch to windows 11, but I really have no clue.

Re: Print preview is not sending format info to printer
What is about the layer color of the missing parts? If it is white change it for a test to black or Vice versa black to white.
If that doesn't solve the issue please attach to your post the drawing as dxf or dwg. Thanks.

Re: Print preview is not sending format info to printer
Okay I tried turning all the lines black - also to no avail.
I attached the file. I'm betting it's going to print perfectly for you.

Re: Print preview is not sending format info to printer
Thanks. How much money is on the table ...?
The "missing entities" are on layer "Defpoints" which is an automatically created layer and by default set to unplottable.
Note: Never use the Defpoints layer for a design! And before you ask - no, you can't delete that layer permanently.
To fix this move all entities to a different layer and from now on printing should work like a charm ...
