Good day.
I work in a small but good and honest engineering company, we need to migrate from a recognized CAD program due to the high costs generated by paying for its licenses. For commercial use of QCAD, do we need to purchase the professional version (paid) or can we use the free version (non-paid) for these purposes?
Thanks for the help.

Re: Uso comercial de licencia - Commercial use license
IMHO, professionals use professional software and there are certain costs associated with it, those are usually deductible. :Wink:BUSAR_RAMJET wrote: ↑Wed Apr 10, 2024 3:44 pmFor commercial use of QCAD, do we need to purchase the professional version (paid) or can we use the free version (non-paid) for these purposes?
Licence information:

Difference between QCAD CE (free) and QCAD Pro (in blue):

For evaluation one can download the QCAD trial (=Pro) packages for your system from the general download page:
https://www.ribbonsoft.com/en/download
These have a limited session time and a limited numbers of session runs.
How to convert a QCAD trial installation into QCAD CE:

QCAD is basically 2D and it was never intended to be an ACAD clone.
