creating Title block and material list for printing blueprint

Post by Lyonsperf » Sun Jun 01, 2025 6:09 pm

I don't see a way to create a blueprint for printing using the standard paper sizes of A, B, C or D.
Need to create a editable title block as well as revision list and material list to have on the print.

Hi,

Perhaps the tutorial Working with Layout Blocks and Viewports may be of interest.

A Layout Block is typically used for arranging things on paper.
You can add Layouts for any kind of paper size.
That may include a border (Block) and a Title Block what are merely Blocks with the required content.
Such a Title Block can use Attribute definitions that are inserted as Attributes along with the Block Reference.
The content of Model_Space to show on paper is then inserted as a Viewport.

There are several predefined Templates available in a standard installation and more can be found in the forum.

CVH
