Hi,
I have just upgraded my operating system from POP_OS 22.04 to POP_OS 24.04 LTS Cosmic
Since re-installing QCAD I cannot get the cursor to the right size - if I got outside the QCAD display the cursor drops to the right size.
My external screen is 23.4" @ 1920 x 1080, 60Hz & scale 100%.
I have screen pics of cursor. In QCAD quite large, move onto open app and cursor drops to proper size.
Does anyone know how to change the cursor size? I have looked in App Preferences - Graphics View - Appearance but can't find anything to change.

Re: Screen Cursor Size
Recommended link option does not work. I have it set to system cursor.

Re: Screen Cursor Size
Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately, this means we cannot solve this problem from our end as this would be a system setting, feature or problem as the window system is controlling the cursor size.
Can you please indicate your exact QCAD version and if you are using Wayland or X11?

Re: Screen Cursor Size
If you are willing to invest some time in resolving the issue, you might want to try the 3.32.3.1 development snapshot release which is Qt 6 based. You can download it from your download link under "QCAD Professional Snapshots".
If that does not solve the issue, try to change "-platform xcb" to "-platform wayland" in the "qcad" launch script. That might make a difference as well.

Re: Screen Cursor Size
I downloaded and installed 3.32.3.1 but couldn't get it to open by double clicking on the desktop icon. I changed -platform xcb to platform wayland in the qcad file but it still wouldn't open.
I tried changing the platform xcb to platform wayland in the qcad file for version 3.32.4.0. But by doing that, that version then wouldn't work either. Changed the platform back to wayland and system still wouldn't work. Had to delete system and re-install.
Do you think it would have anything to do with the new Cosmic desktop environment?
